We offer 3 different packages, ranging from R2,000 to R3,000.

How many months before the wedding should I purchase my wedding website?

Ideally, you should purchase your wedding website around 11 months before your wedding date.

This allows ample time to design the site and make any adjustments.

It also gives your guests plenty of time to RSVP and review important details such as accommodations and schedules.

If your wedding is closer, don’t worry—we offer expedited services to get your wedding site up and running.

How do I order and pay for our wedding website?

You can view our wedding website packages and their pricing here. There will be an option to make payment.

Alternatively, you can contact us via our website or email, and we will guide you through the process.

Design & Features

What is included in a standard wedding website package?

Each wedding website is custom-designed to suit each couple’s unique wedding style and match their wedding colour palette.

Every website is created with the following:

 

Homepage:

  • A welcome message with the couple’s names and a beautiful image of the couple.
  • The wedding date and location.

Our Story page:

  • A section sharing how the couple met, their journey, and engagement story.

RSVP functionality:

  • A form for guests to respond with their attendance.
  • Meal choices, if applicable.

Event details page:

  • Ceremony: Date, time, and location details.
  • Reception: Venue, time, and map.
  • Dress code information.
  • Parking and transportation information.

Registry links:

  • Direct links to gift registries at stores of your choice.

Photo gallery:

  • An opportunity to share engagement photos and memories leading up to the wedding.

Accommodation:

  • Nearby hotels and accommodation options.
  • Transportation options and suggestions for out-of-town guests.

Contact Us:

  • An email address, contact form, and/or phone number for additional questions that your guests may have.
  • Details for who to contact on the day of the wedding, if there is a guest emergency.

Additional features like travel information and wedding party bios can be included upon request.

How long does it take to design a wedding website?

The timeline typically ranges from 1 to 2 weeks.

Can I customize the design to match my wedding theme and colors?

Absolutely! We tailor each website to reflect your wedding’s colors, style, and theme.

Can we include our engagement photos and wedding video?

Yes, we can include photo galleries and even slideshows to showcase your story.

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can upload?

Yes, each website package has a certain limit. Please see the options here.

How does the online RSVP work?

The RSVP integration tracks guest responses, meal choices, and special requests.

You will receive an email notification once someone has RSVP’d, along with all their information and meal selections.

 

Can I add pages?

Definetly!

We have the option to add pages, here are a few examples of extra pages we offer:

  • Meet the Bridal Party (+R150)
  • Things To Do (+R150)
  • Pre/Post Events (+R150)
Can I include multiple events (e.g., rehearsal dinner, brunch)?

Yes, these can be added as an extra page, at an additional R150 per event. We can create separate pages or sections for each event, including maps, times, and RSVP options.

What content do I need to provide?

We will provide you with a document to complete which includes your event details, a brief story about your relationship, and photos. 

Will my site be mobile-friendly?

Yes, all of our wedding websites are optimized to look great on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.

What if my wedding plans change?

We can easily update your website to reflect any changes in date, venue, or other details as needed.

Are there templates to choose from, or is every website custom?

All websites are fully custom designed, depending on your wedding style, theme, and colours.

Yes, we can add social media icons and feeds as an added extra. This is a great way to allow guests the opportunity to follow your journey.

Technical

How does the hosting work?

Each website includes 12 months hosting.

There is an option to add on extra months, depending on how long you would like your website live before and/or after your wedding. 

What about a domain?

Each website comes with a custom .co.za domain.

For example, www.thesmithswedding.co.za

How does the email account work?

Each website comes with a free custom email name.

For example, ourwedding@thesmiths.co.za

You can include the link in your save-the-dates, invitations, or send it as-is via email or social media.

After The Wedding

What happens to the website after the wedding?

Your website includes 12 months free hosting. If you would like your wedding website to stay up longer, you will have the option to add Web Hosting as an added extra.
